A one-day seminar was organised on the topic “What Industry Expects from Fresh College Graduates” by Turacoz Skill Development Program at Kanpur Institute of Technology, Kanpur on 18th October 2019. An interactive session with pharmacy students was carried out on industry expectations, how to bridge the gap between industry and academia, modern and alternative carrier options available to science students along with industrial training with internship programs. More than 150 students of Pharmacy stream had participated in the National Workshop. Professor Dr. Nidhi, Skill Development Program, KIT Kanpur welcomed the team of Turacoz Skill Development Program with gratitude. The main purpose of this session was to make students updated regarding Market Research, Pharmacovigilance and Drug safety and types of Medical Writing. The team of Turacoz was pleased to have such an enthusiastic and budding scientists. The interactive session also covered the summary of courses offered by TSDP including Six- month diploma course in Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance, Market Research and Three-month certificate courses on pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety and Clinical Research and Scientific Writing. The participants were given certificates at the end of the workshop.
