Turacoz Skill Development Program (TSDP) and Chitkara School of Pharmacy conducted National Workshop on Medical Writing and Pharmacovigilance on 9th March 2019 at Chitkara University, Chandigarh. More than 130 students of life sciences sector participated in the National Workshop. During the first session, Mrs. Kripi Vohra (Senior Medical Writer Turacoz Healthcare Solutions) enlightened the students of B. Pharm, M. Pharm, Pharm. D and MBA with fundamentals of medical writing, regulatory documents and publication articles. She also explained plagiarism and copyright issues in detail. In the next session, Dr. Smriti Khatri (Lead Corporate Training and Skill Development) updated the audience regarding drug safety and pharmacovigilance and resolved all the doubts and queries of students. The session also covered the summary of courses offered by TSDP including Six- month diploma course in Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance and market research and Two-month short courses on pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety and Scientific Writing and Conference Presentation. The last session was based on clinical research and trials. The participants were given certificates at the end of the National workshop.
